Junior Infants Investigate Heat in Class.

Last week Junior Infants did an experiment to investigate the effects of heat on chocolate.

First the children predicted what they thought might happen with the majority guessing correctly, that it would melt.
All the children enjoyed the experiment and took great delight when the bowl of melted chocolate emerged from the microwave.

With the smell of chocolate filling the room they went on to make make rice crispie buns with their melted chocolate.

It was all hands on deck as they stirred in the rice crispies, put bun cases in trays and filled them with the mixture and once they set it was time for the best part-the tasting!

Well done Junior Infants, great work!!
