In celebration of Maths Week 2018, we have had a fun-filled, busy, interactive week. From Junior Infants right through to 6th class, using our Maths Eyes in our everyday life, has been the theme of our week.

In Infants we enjoyed an excellent new game called Face Off while First Class entered into the Halloween spirit with a game of Boo Bump Addition. Second to Fourth spent the morning investigating Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man Theory, while Fifth and Sixth got to grips with a tricky SkyScrapers puzzle and collaborating while problem solving with Izak9.

We have had lots of opportunity all week to work and learn collaboratively and practise our group work skills. A huge thank you to all the teachers for getting involved with Maths trails, puzzles and games all week.
