The RDS Primary Science Fair provides a public forum for primary schools across Ireland to showcase their class STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) projects, receive feedback from experts in the field and learn from viewing other projects at a major exhibition, the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.
Teachers, here at St. Attracta’s, have witnessed real, long-term benefits by getting involved in the initiative. It’s a great way to get pupils inspired about the vital subjects of science and technology and a brilliant way to showcase our school’s scientific strengths. We have exhibited twice at the Primary Science Fair in recent years, with projects based firstly upon Biodiversity and a subsequent entry based on Climate Change. We look forward to many more exciting submissions in the coming years!
