Welcome back everyone, we hope you all had a lovely Christmas and have a very healthy and happy year ahead. Our first week of the new year in school has really flown. It has been all hands on deck particularly in our Senior Class who are busy preparing to showcase their Young Scientist Exhibition project at Mary Immaculate College of Education Limerick on Thursday next. We wish the boys and girls in 6th Class and their teachers Ms.Rushe and Ms.McDonnagh well and are sure all their hard work pays dividend.

As it is the start of the new year we learned of children who returned to school full of enthusiasm for the new year. Teachers described children who have appeared to have made New Year’s resolutions and are living up to them in class. It is never too late to try something new or give doing something a different way a chance. We heard children described as young teachers in the making and an example to our school. A caring, kind and considerate attitude towards others is a lovely description of our students. We strive to do our best, to show our best and to be our best. Maith sibh go léir. Táimid fíor bhródúil asaibh.

A busy week awaits especially for our students from 2nd to 6th who on Tuesday will their Internet Safety talks. As mentioned on Thursday Rang a Sé will take part in the Primary Science Fair in Limerick. This we’re sure will be a very special day.

We wish all our students well for the week ahead.
