We were delighted to welcome Ms. Síofra Harrington Senior Lecturer at National Optometry Centre in Dublin to our school this morning. Síofra visited the girls and boys from Ms.Sloyan’s First Class as part of their participation in the Ireland Eye Study. This study is the first national study examining the health of children’s eyes. More than 1,500 schoolchildren across the country aged six-seven and 12-13 years are participating in this Study.

We were delighted to take part in the study and well done to all Ms. Sloyan’s students who really were on their best behaviour! Maith sibh!
