First Holy Communion 23

Comhghairdeachas to Mr.Rushe’s Second Class students who on Saturday, May 27th, received their First Holy Communion in St.James’ Church Charlestown in a very special ceremony. As always, it was lovely to be together and share this day with our friends from Tavneena NS.

Firstly, a very special word of thanks to Mr.Rushe for his wonderful work in preparing the children so well. Míle buíochas also to Fr. Johnston and Fr. Doherty for this lovely ceremony and continuous support of our school and students. A sincere thank you also to Mrs. Richella O’Connor and her Choir (3rd to 6th Class) for the beautiful music which added so much to the ceremony and to Mrs. Helen McCafferty for her help and support as always.

A very sincere thank you to the parents of our First Class students for their kindness and generosity with the Communion Party after mass. It was a lovely occasion to come together and celebrate before going our separate ways.

Finally, thank you to all our Mum’s, Dad’s and family members who were present to support Mr.Rushe’s fantastic students. We are all so proud of the children. We hope each of the boys and girls enjoyed this special day!
