Comghairdeachas to our girls’ team who were in action earlier in the Mini 7’s finals in the Dome at the Connacht Centre of Excellence.

First up was a thrilling semi-final against the West Mayo Champions, Breaffy NS, Castlebar. This game ebbed and flowed and was in the balance right until the final whistle. Unfortunately on this occasion, we were on the wrong side of a 2-3 to 1-3 scoreline, however, the girls can be so proud of their performance against an excellent Breaffy team.

Next up was a third and fourth-place playoff again the North Mayo Champions, Cullens NS, Ballina. This was again a great battle where our girls delivered an excellent performance, winning on a scoreline of 3-4 to 1-2.

As always, we are so proud of our team. Each of the girls played their part and contributed to the journey throughout the autumn to today’s final. This was a brilliant achievement to reach today’s finals and play so well in today’s games. Maith sibh go léir a chailiní!
